What is Vesa? If you are looking to mount your TV on the Wall you will no doubt have come across the term VESA or VESA compatible or VESA compliant VESA 100 x 100, 75 x 75, 200 x 100 and 200 x 200 etc - but what does this mean?
VESA is a term used to describe the standard used to ensure that TV's and TV Wall Brackets are compatible. The number after the VESA indicates the distance between the fixing holes on the rear of your TV
VESA is a standard pattern of threaded mounting holes on the back of a TV which allows many standard Wall Brackets and Wall Mounts to be easily fitted to your LED, LCD or Plasma TV.
Almost all of the major LED, Plasma and LCD TV manufacturers such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Philips and Panasonic make Plasma and LCD TV's which are VESA compatible meaning that you have a wide choice of Wall Brackets and Wall Mounts from many suppliers which will be compatible with your TV
So how do you tell if your Plasma or LCD screen is VESA compatible?
Well its not as difficult as it may seem simply look on the back of your TV and measure the spacing of the mounting holes.

What does universal mean?
